These are a pair of antique “straight temple” steel eye-glasses. The frame is steel and the hinges are still solid and work well. There are also no signs that the frames were welded shut, and all the screws are still intact so it should be quite simple to replace the glass of the lenses. The present lenses have a light prescription. They measure 4 5/8” (11.5 cm) from edge to edge on the front. They are 1 1/4” (3.25 cm) up and down. The arms are just over 5” (13 cm) long, when pushed straight. (they curve inward slightly to grip the head)They are very light and still springy. Quite a find!
