FACT: This wonderful butterfly chalk ware plaque was made by C. Miller Studio Inc. in 1956.
The background was a bit sun faded and dirty looking so I refreshed it with color and sealed it.
It's wired for hanging and is in excellent vintage condition. This is wonderful retro cottage decor.
9"H x 6"W

FICTION: Shy and retiring Hortense Mallory was a bird watcher, but on one of her outings with the Tumwater Birdwatchers she was approached by a man name Howard Bodingle who suggested she join him in a butterfly watching expedition. According to Howard, the butterfly had a lot to teach us humans about freedom. To be 65 years old and still never been kissed, was a burden that Hortense had expected to carry to the end of her time. But here was Howard, and an invitation fly to Mexico to watch the beautiful Monarchs fly, and who knows what else.....
