We, you and I, love the preservation of vintage books and the art that make them worth finding. This wonderful book plate, The Color of the Ancient Empires, rescued from The Book of Knowledge, The Children’s Encyclopedia circa 1928.

Seems like it could have been drawn on papyrus by the ancient Egyptians themselves and it Is waiting for you.

Whether you wish to frame it and add it to your wall décor, or use it to decoupage and/or make it a part of your personal scrapbooking history. How to fulfill its destiny is limited only by your imagination.

The patina is amazing reminding me, hopefully you as well, of simpler times, the aroma reminiscent of childhood days gone by spent in the company of grandparents that wished to impart wisdom on our blossoming intellects. The aging enriches the images on the page.

It measures 6.5 x 9.5, pictures show front and back views. Please let us know if you have any other questions. We will ship this page so that it securely stays flat.

I will be adding more book art so please come back. ;-)
