A warm, buttery yellow sheet of my own handmade paper is the backdrop for these teabag fragments dipped in beeswax. The grid work structure forms tiny squares accented with x's at their intersections. The teabag has been torn into smaller pieces are hand stitched to the handmade paper, which has also been dipped in beeswax, giving it a warm, luscious tone. The sewing also helps to adhere the page to another more sturdy sheet of handmade paper which serves as a support. Two honey-colored beads at the top help secure the pages and provide a further accent.

Full size sheet of handmade paper measures approximately 11 3/4"h x 9 1/4". Artwork will come to you carefully packaged and ready for framing. The beeswax will make this piece quite delicate...please be careful of the edges, which are beautifully deckled....and best to keep out of the hot summer sun or other sources of direct heat!

Thank you for browsing MissouriBendStudio...enjoy!
