This is a very old, well used nail keg from a farm in southern Alabama. It has tons of primitive charm from its rusty metal band on the bottom to its twisted wires around the middle. The keg is oak and has been painted with a perfectly prim scarecrow based on a design by Terrye French. This would make a perfect holder for your fireplace tools, as a welcoming piece on your front porch filled with dried corn stalks or an umbrella holder.
