"Little Ring Nebula"
This listing is for the 6x6" original oil painting only (anything else in the photos is for size reference only). This painting was created in January 2020 as a part of a series of outer-space themed paintings. This painting is based on the real celestial object, the Ring Nebula.
The canvas is back-stapled to a wood frame and the 3/4" thick sides are painted flat black, so that it can be hung on the wall without an additional frame and there is no need for re-stretching the painting as it will be shipped as-is (NOT rolled). [Some pictures may show sides unpainted if the photo was taken immediately after painting was created]
You now have the option of getting a small easel (shown in some photos) with your purchase if you plan to set this on a table or other surface instead of a wall - just choose the "Painting and Easel" option. The other items (and larger painting) shown in some photos is simply to give a sense of scale (but the larger painting is available in another listing!).
These adorable mini-paintings are a great size for a desk or small table and make great gifts. Mini-paintings are a great way to own original artwork when you can't afford - or have no room for - a large piece of art. They're also a great way for me to test out new ideas, so let me know if there's something you'd like to see me paint on a mini-canvas!
