This edition of Lucretius's "The Nature of the Universe" was translated by R. E. Latham and published by Penguin in 1962. It is in good condition with some handwritten notes and underlining in blue ink pen and minor wear to the cover. R. E. Latham's translation puts Lucretius's work into a plain style and disposes with unintelligible grammatical structures or an attempt to echo the archaic poetry style of the original. Lucretius's work talks about all aspects of the universe and focuses to a great extant on "atoms" or the smallest parts that make up the different things in existence. An interesting read for anyone particularly when keeping this in the context of the time in which it was written.
