Living in a house dating back to the late 1700's, I am finding many interesting pieces of pottery and china several feet below ground level as I have been digging new gardens recently on our property.

The china pieces pictured in this listing are a total... MYSTERY! Without any distinguishing marks, I was unable to find any information on this china pattern. I believe they are the remnants of an old casserole or vegetable tureen which I am sure was stunning back in the day. I am also guessing that it was made back in the 50's as are the majority of the items I have been finding.

Weathered by Mother Earth and time, all of these pieces have a fabulous natural crackled glaze patina that is... OHhh so RUSTIC and BEAUTIFUL! This collection includes a total of 18 pieces ranging in size from 7 1/2" to 4 1/2" for the three largest pieces, 4 1/4" to 3" for the seven medium sized pieces, and anywhere from 2 3/4" down to 1 1/4" for the eight smaller pieces. All pieces are being offered as found by me for your mixed media or mosaic making pleasure!

ADD SOME INTEREST AND INTRIGUE to your next project with a bit of this MYSTERIOUS VINTAGE CHINA from an UNKNOWN an unknown time.... HAVE FUN!

NOTE: China pieces are sharp so please HANDLE CAREFULLY!
