Menya blanket is beautiful, elegant and easy to make. Although it has a modern, minimalistic look, popcorn stitches give it a nostalgic, vintage style. It goes well in super modern, clean, geometric spaces, as well as in rustic, shabby chic living rooms, with lots of comfy cushions…. I'm not the most talented or advanced crocheter, nevertheless, this pattern, which I thought would be very difficult, is actually quite simple. Once I figured out how to read the pattern (and the photos helped immensely!!) it is quite simple.

This pattern was very detailed and clearly written; my throw is turning out beautifully! I purchased the yarn the designer used, Hooked Eucalyps, and was hesitant because of how splity the fiber strands are and how easy it is to snag but it was too expensive to return so I kept it and am actually really enjoying working with it. It would have been helpful to be given substitution suggestions for other yarns and weights for this project.
