Item details

Both a beautiful way to store and serve butter, this handmade butter dish features a colorful design on both the lid and the tray. A raven or blackbird surrounded by wildflowers is sure to add some color and interest to your table when you set the butter out on this dish.

I hand built this dish and lid from stoneware clay, using pottery glazes for the color. The tray measures 7" long x 5" wide ande 1" high; the lid is 5" long x 3 wide and 3" high.

You may choose the little butter knife to go with this dish from the drop down menu when you check out.

If this is a gift and you would like me to include a card with a message from you in the package, simply leave the wording in the Note to Seller when you check out.

If I feel I can make something custom for you in a style, design and glaze that I have tested and perfected, I'm happy to consider custom and personalized orders. Please know that there is generally an added charge for this and it may take six weeks or more to complete.
Because all of my pottery is made one at a time, there will be variations in size, even when you purchase a set of two or more pieces. Generally these are maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch in difference and a couple ounces in volume at times.
I use a very durable stoneware clay for my pottery, making it able to withstand continued, everyday use. Unless stated otherwise in the description, you can use my pottery in your oven, microwave and dishwasher.
It is very difficult to gift wrap your pottery since I need to make sure it has lots of bubblewrap and peanuts surrounding it so it arrives intact. However, I am very happy to tie a ribbon around the packing material and to include a hand written card with a message from you inside the box. Just leave me the wording in your Note to Seller at check out.
I do sell my work wholesale to gift shops and galleries. Please contact me for minimum order and pricing information. My phone is: 970-846-9349 and my email is

I also have a watercolor shop here on etsy and would love to be represented by a gallery for that work. You can see it at:
