Decal Transfer Pendant Tao Symbol

Here is another decal transfer piece from my studio. This sale is for ONE pendant, the one the Asian symbol for the Tao.

They are water slide decals from an HP LaserJet printer. The unique thing about the ink is it contains iron oxide (commonly known as rust) which when applied in glazes on stains leaves a lovely sepia brown to red color. When fired in the kiln, they become part of the glaze, and very durable.

This technique is used by many potters in recent times, having become an artistic expression with limitless possibilities. I love to see what others are doing with it too. Feels like being a part of some historic event.

Subject matter can be serious, whimsical, pictorial, or lyrical.

On a stoneware clay oval and hanging from a dark chocolate cotton cord. The cord is adjustable length from very long to choker. Please keep in mind: 1. Every computer screen is different and colors may not appear exactly as seen 2. These are handmade items, by one artist, and are not factory made. Please allow for slight imperfections 3. I am a one woman show and have no outside help (other than my generous husband) so any communications are done with a real living breathing person. Please be kind. 4. I have 100% positive feedback, I am diligent and do my best to bring joy to each customer.
