I have had lots of customers bake their glass eyes with their polymer clay creations at temperatures up to 275 degrees and for up to 30 minutes. Any longer or hotter and I recommend first coating the exposed back side of the cabochons with a protective agent, such as enamel or resin.

What to use the glass eyes for

All of the glass eyes, pendant cabochons, and steampunk jewelry in this Etsy shop are originally designed by me and handmade per order. These glass eyes and cabochons work beautifully in beaded jewelry, as wire-wrapped pendants, glued into bezels, baked into polymer clay creations, and added to taxidermy creatures.

Your orders are shipped out within 1-3 business days following your order. All mailed items are shipped via First Class USPS mail. Your items are packaged securely to ensure that they will make their way safely to you in the same condition they leave the studio.

Refunds and Exchanges

I want you to LOVE your ordered items. If you are not satisfied with your purchase please send me a message so I may remedy the situation. If a return is requested on an item without any unsatisfactory complaint, the buyer will be responsible to pay return shipping. I suggest that you send it via trackable mail as I cannot refund the purchase until the items have made their way back to me.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Although I do my very best to ensure that items are securely and safely packaged, if your item by chance does arrive broken or damaged in any way, I accept full responsibility and will refund your purchase and shipping fees in their entirety - or replace your order with a new shipment depending on your preference and the available stock of replacement items. The same applies to any packages that may be lost in the mail on their way over to you. Sometimes the post office misplaces packages, but I take full responsibility and will ensure that your items make their way over to you. I want you to be completely happy with your order from my Etsy shop, and am willing to go the extra mile to ensure that is the case!

Eye Backings and Glue Use

Do NOT remove the backing on your new eyes. Backing removal can damage the eye design. If gluing your eye to a surface area of your project we recommend first adding a thin coating of glue to the backsides of your eyes and letting that dry before gluing to your project to seal and protect the eyes from the elements and from any excess glue soaking through and damaging the eye designs.
