Horizontal wraps create stripes of browns and reds with wood-grain movement against a deep, watery, blue background. This Northwest contemporary stdio art glass piece with a slim, flattened shape fits well on mantels, sills, or ledges. Size is 8" tall by 8" wide by 2.5" deep. Artist signed.

Item arrived VERY well packed and protected, even for glass; double boxed with plenty of padding between the 2 boxes (see picture), and well-sealed. Thank you, very much! Item is smaller than I expected - NOT the seller's fault, there is/was a picture of it next to a tape measure, so that is 100% on me. Also looks a little plain in ordinary light, but still quite lovely; and it is quickly growing on me. Currently occupying a place of honor, as a paperweight, on my computer table where I can enjoy it. I plan to buy a small black light lamp for it soonest, so I can enjoy it in it's fullest splendor. I gave this purchase 5 stars because the only 2 things that I don't feel 100% about (i.e. size & appearance in normal light) are both on me, not seller. Seller's pix were many & detailed, so I have no complaints on this purchase.
