This pattern was very easy to follow, provided helpful photos, and worked up quickly. I was very pleased with the results and the hot pads are thick enough to provide good protection from heat.

Item is cute and functional. Good tips about type of yarn to use. Written pattern lacked details for gauge and finished size. Not that big a deal because I know how big I would want a potholder to be and I was able to adjust. After reading through the directions I realized that the designer assumed that the purchaser would have had previous experience with creating this style of item. I have not. Had to seek out instructions online.
