You are viewing a vintage watermelon print apron which was handmade, created and detailed by a seamstress in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The apron has two large pockets with delicate lace details and lace lining the bodice for extra sweetness. The measurements are 20" waist band, 34" tie on left and right and 26" from bodice to hem. The main colors are red, blue, green and white. The cook wore this little apron for many big pots of gumbo and jambalaya, washed, ironed and gingerly packed the apron away for the next event. The cotton fabric says 1991 on the back side and is very soft from years of wear though the apron is still in good vintage condition.
