The Marvel Rug Knitter. From the Home Furnishings building at the New York Worlds Fair in 1939

Still in the original box.One end tab of the box is torn off but still with the box.
Red marks from previous owner on front of box. Original price on box $1.00
Side of box reads "Greetings from Home Furnishing Bldg New York Worlds Fair NY"

Used for making a hooked rug of sorts using yarn or strips of fabric on burlap.
Made of smooth grained wood. Not sure what kind.
Instructions for use are on the back of box
Brass needle with steel feeder
Metal screweye
Metal gold-tone plate.

Box measures approx 8" x 3 3/4" x 1/2"
