Description:
Lauren is a drapey and elegant kimono jacket. With a simple shape and drop-shoulders, it’s knit in stockinette stitch with a lace border on the bottom of the jacket and cuffs.
It’s perfect spring time layering piece to give your outfits a 1940s movie-star retro chic vibe. You could also use it indoors over your nightwear.
This pattern works best with a silky yarn, to give it same drapey fabric appearance as kimonos.

The photographed sample is knit in the first size, with the « MT Merino (50%)-Tencel (50%) from Yarn by Simone, in the Toffe colorway (333 m for 100g).

Bust circumference on finished garment : S1 (124 cm) / S2 (140 cm) / S3 (154 cm) / S4 (170 cm)
Postive ease 35 to 45 cm

Yarn: Sport weight
1444 / 1733 / 1892 / 2111 yards - 1320 / 1585 / 1730 / 1930 meters

Gauge with 3.5 mm needles (US 4):
10x10 cm (in stockinette stitch): 24 st. x 30 r.
Adapt needle size to obtain gauge

Circular needles:
3.5 mm (US 4) and 3 mm (US 2.5) needles, with 60 to 100 cm cables
