How crazy are we to keep making our inkle looms even smaller! Introducing our Fiddle loom, the smallest working inkle loom we could make. (We tried smaller! But they were not functional.)

At only 8 inches long, it's perfect for slipping in purses and tote bags for weaving on the go. Great for more delicate/intricate work! Now you really can take your weaving anywhere with out a problem.

The Fiddle makes a band that is 34+ inches long and at least 2 inches wide. (2.5 if you push the limits!)

We recommend this loom for those already familiar with inkle weaving, as it's small size can make it difficult to advance.

This loom includes a one of our super small shuttles, and a small basic instruction sheet. It will NOT include one of our full sized inkle manuals. Although you can ask for a downloadable version if you need one.

Can be made out of one of two hardwoods, so it will last you a lifetime, no problem. See the images in the listing for examples of the different woods. Specially designed and tested for maximum shed size, and ease of use. All products are hand sanded till they're super smooth, and then buffed with a natural beeswax blend to seal them.

The Fiddle loom is 8" long, 5" tall, 4.5" wide and weighs about 8 oz. The pegs are 2 1/2" long so you can make fairly nice band without a problem.

All woodworking products are hand-carved so there will be some variation in sizes and appearance.

It's perfect! Small enough to take from room to room or on the road. I was a bit intimidated about warping it, had to try three times to get that right - I have visual/brain issues so that's me not the loom - once I figured it out I gave it a few weaving rows. I love it! Like a lot of people have stated here, it's pretty enough to leave sitting out as a work of art and a conversation starter for younger people who may not know what it is, even my husband asked what I wanted to do with it when he saw it! LOL. He requested a strap to secure his lunch box in his backpack. It was worth the shipping wait. Well worth the price.

What a beautiful little loom and designer shuttle! It is so easy to use with my dog sitting on my lap. The wood is so smooth it feels like butter. I now understand why people praise these looms. They go out of their way to make sure their customers are satisfied. Thought the Fiddle might be too small to work with but that is not the case. I am so happy that I followed my heart and ordered one. It is easy to use and fits just right in my lap. I like sampling so the band size is also just right.

Super cute little loom! It's sturdy, smoothly finished, and just the right size to keep near my chair. I've already started weaving on it. The laminated card with the warping diagram was helpful. And I love that the end of the little shuttle is just the right size to slip over the loom's dowels. It's going to make keeping the loom and shuttle together easy. Nice design touch!

I absolutely adore this loom. This is my 2nd Windhaven loom. My first purchase was a Minstrel which I felt was the perfect size ( not too big nor too small) to learn how to weave on. However, I could not resist getting a super portable mini loom (Fiddle) as well. Very happy with product & service & plan on more purchases in the future!
