This 3D-printed holder was designed to cradle your AnyTone UV868 or UV878 handheld Part-90 / amateur radio and sit inside one of your vehicle's cup holders. The mount has a slight offset to make reading the display easier. The diameter at the base matches a Tall Starbucks cup and should fit in most cup-holders. If your vehicle has an extra large truck-type cup holder we have a separate flexible cozy available (see separate listing)

This part is printed on-demand in black and is typically shipped within 1-2 business days. It's printed with PETG, a popular plastic used by 3D printers. If you live in an exceptionally warm climate please note that this material has heat-compatible properties similar to ABS, so it shouldn't warp. All printed pieces have some imperfections - ridges, bumps, visible print lines, etc. that are introduced during printing. The items, though, remain fully functional. PETG can also be sanded, painted, etc.

The piece is hollow and was designed to be filled with a ballast, such as lead balls, coins, sand, etc. This will help keep the item firmly in place while holding an otherwise top-heavy radio.

Please note, this part was NOT designed to accommodate a radio placed inside of a weather-resistant case. Another model will be created specifically for those. However, the model was recently updated and now supports the presence of the battery eliminator. The base can also be matched with different tops for different radios and/or mobile phones.

The holder works great, shipped quick with no issues. The only adjustment I made was to the hole in the back. It was about 1/4 inch too small for the 12V adapter to pass through. Took about 5 minutes and a Dremel to make it work.

Wonderful fit and protection for the HT. Thanks Dave for making the base tapered!! It really helps with options for final fitment in cup holders. I have 3 vehicles where this is used and all 3 require different shimming. Rubber beer cozy is the best for securing it.

Was just a tiny bit small in regards to my cup holders, so I placed it inside an old neoprene type beer koozie, trimmed the koozie to the same height as my cup holder, and now it fits like a glove with no wobble.
