This is a custom PC board I designed that you can use to make your own homebrew Genesis or Mega Drive games with, or repair old games that no longer work. You will need to supply your own components to populate the board.

Find out how to make games with this at my website:
https://bit.ly/2OW6XBZ

This board uses the common 27C322 EPROM. The board also accepts the commonly used 27C160 as well. If you use the ever popular TL866 or TL866ii Plus programmer, you will need an adapter to program these chips, which I also sell on my Etsy shop here:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/785815935/27c322160800400-to-tl866-and-tl866ii

With this board, you can make most games, including games that save! Be sure to solder the correct pads on the back of the board based on the size of your ROM file. If your game is 16 Mbit or less, you do not need the 74HC74, but you can still have it on the board without issue.

This board has an ENIG finish - high quality, holds up very well over time when taking the game in and out of the console.

There are three options for this board - a bare PCB, one that comes with all the parts unsoldered (except the battery and EPROM), and one that also includes a 42-pin DIP socket for testing out EPROMs before permanently soldering to another board. The parts are not attached to the board, but come separately for you to solder yourself. Note that the socket for the Test PCB package will cause the board to not fit in a cartridge without cutting a section out, but you can still use the board without a case in a console to test.

Please, check out my website listed above for extremely detailed instructions on how to construct a game of your own, and if you have any questions, contact me!
Message or email me for larger quantity inquiries. If you need more stock, please contact me - I might have some extra that's not reflected here.

Before I even visited this store I was reading ThePoorStudentHobbyists guides and documentation and learning a lot about the cartridges that are a big part of my hobby. It's easy to get all enthusiastic about the idea of making or modifying my own game carts. So it was really a no brainer to try several of these neat products. Nick has been very helpful answering questions and commenting on ideas about these products - it's clearly a work of passion. I havn't tried the full cartridge yet - I want to make the most of that. But the programming adapter had me burning my first game ROM the same afternoon I received the order, and the day after I'm playing a game on a donor cartridge using the 27c322 adapter. Everything just worked.
