Made by Fenton, this milk glass cake stand has a ruffled rim that forms a nice border for your cake and a hobnail design on the underside. Great for wedding cakes or any baked goods.

**This piece likely dates to the 1950s and the glass is a soft white, not quite the bright, opaque white of later Fenton pieces. It's a subtle difference--the color is similar to skim milk.**

The ribbing on the pedestal is a variation found on some of these earlier hobnail cake stands--you can see another similar piece without the ribbing here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/79916148/hobnail-milk-glass-wedding-cake-stand-by

Measures 5 inches high, 12 3/4 inches diameter overall, about 9 3/4 inches diameter of flat space without the ruffled edge, 5 inches diameter of foot. Unmarked, 1950s.

Overall condition is good, with no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. A few light scratches to the top of the plate from use.
