This is the" Explorer" from Telechron, manufactured from 1937-39 model 8F03. It features a walnut case with bronze back and footrest.

The dial has black characters on a brown background with a revolving world band of light and dark sections, denoting AM or PM. This "world time" clock has a 24 hour band showing time in different cities around the globe.

It is in excellent vintage condition. The wood has a few small scratches, the crystal and dial are spotless. It keeps perfect time and hums very softly if your ear is right next to it. The cord is intact and supple.

It measures 6 3/8 by 6 3/8 inches and is 2 1/4 inches deep.

All clocks are tested for at least 48 hours for accuracy and noise. I test again prior to shipping so that all clocks are in good working order when shipped. Old clocks can be unpredictable and I can give no guarantee or warranty. If you are unhappy with your purchase I do accept returns, please see my policies. Vintage clocks are made to last a long, long time. Routine maintenance by a professional is recommended to keep your clock running well.
