This is a gorgeous signed brooch by Cadoro in gold plated metal with marbleized pea green Bakelite cabochons. The brooch is signed CADORO with the copyright symbol on the back. Cadoro was founded by actor Steve Brody and Dan Steneskieu, and operated out of New York City from 1945 to the 1980's.

The brooch is 2 3/8 inches measuring across the center from point to point. It has a dimensional height of 3/4 inches. The bakelite (tested with simichrome) cabochons are 17 mm in diameter with a height of 8 mm.

This piece is in excellent condition. There is no wear to the gold plated metal, which has the dark gold color of 18K plating. The bakelite cabochons are free of scratches, cracks, chips, or scuffs. The pin and catch works well.

This is a lovely vintage designer signed brooch in super fabulous condition with a striking bold design that will translate well for today's fashions. The design is well done and the piece is very well made.
