This is a wonderful antique kerosene oil lamp with handle made from galvanized metal and brass circa 1903. The lamp is marked "L.R. Oakes PAT. FEB. 17.1903" and appears to be still in working condition! This primitive piece has wonderful brass details and the neatest little (mica?) window in its chimney to help protect you while it lights your way!

The lamp measures 9 inches (22.86 cm) tall, by 6 1/2 inches (16.51 cm) long including its handle, by 5 1/4 inches (13.34 cm) wide. Its burner adjustment dial that controls the height of the wick still functions well, the expansive kettle still appears sturdy and well-contained, and the separate chimney with its wonderful little window is still present to help vent the lamp's smoke while still giving adequate light.

Please feel free to convo me with any questions. Thank you for exploring my shop!
