This is a beautiful antique Ingraham mantle clock. Probably from the late 1800's to early 1900's. It was refurbished at one point, so the innards are newer, the stunning wood case is all original with the lion heads on each side. I don't know if the face is original to this case, but it was definetly cleaned as were the hands, and the glass bezel was replaced. It was running fine for several months, and than it started running fast and the gong is not gonging the right amount of times, it could probably use a tune up or an excorsist, I sometimes think it has its own mind, I don't know much about how to tune up these old clocks. It comes with a key, but it's not the original key. It is 13" long x 6" wide x 10.5" tall. It weighs a hefty 8 lbs without packaging, so the shipping will be This clock looks beautiful on a fireplace mantle or a book shelf or a desk. It gongs on the hour, but as I explained earlier, it doesn't gong for the right amount, Example: at one o'clock it might gong 3 times instead of once. It has a bell that goes off on the half hour, that seems to work fine. This Ingraham mantle clock looks absolutely stunning, a fine specimen of something very old.
