~*~*~*RESERVED FOR MARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~*~*~*
These glasses were mine (I DO keep some, y'know!). I had my own prescription put in about 5 years ago and have advanced to poorer eyesight, thereby needing a new pair!
I paint my glasses. If I want blue, I enamel them blue. In this case I liked a lot of blue and a little red! (If you are not familiar with my take on non-conforming-style, perhaps you should peruse my profile?) What ever. If I can't find what I want, I find a way to get it. (most of the paint can be removed with nail polish remover on a cotton swab, but some would remain...and THAT could be interesting also)
These are by Artcraft. They are modified cat in silvertone aluminum with molded floral, which stands out with the enameling. Bows are in line and well-attached. The prescription, by the way, is a no-line bi-focal: readers on the bottom and very mild on top.
No flaws beyond the slight crazing at the ends of the bows and a small chip on the end of one bow. I would recommend new plastic ear pieces. The optometrists have them and just slide them over the ends of the bows.
5 5/8" from bow-to-bow
Lenses: 1 1/2" deep X 1 3/4" across
