Based on a Waldorf-style of doll, my blanket dolls are made from all natural materials and are meant to encourage creative play and nurturing in young children. Their sweet faces are intentionally devoid of detail so that your little one can enjoy open-ended play.

I make my doll heads from interlock cotton fabric and wool batting and embroider their eyes and mouths. Their cheeks are just slightly rosy from a little red beeswax rub. Dimensions: approximately 10" from hand to hand; 2" or greater head diameter; 10" from tip of hat to point of bunting. Size varies slightly by fabric (velour dolls tend to be bigger).

Yes, these dolls are washable! It is always best to spot clean with a damp towel, when possible. If necessary, they can be submerged in your sink with a gentle detergent, soaked, and rinsed well. Gently pat out excess water and wrap in a towel to remove remaining water. Air dry.
