This hand made, one-of-a-kind artist book is called "An Object Found".

10-pages in length, this book has been created using both vintage materials and hand altered supplies. It measures 6.5" x 4.75" when closed. It is completely hand made and hand bound. There is a vintage, aged feel to the book.

The covers were made from pieces of vintage book covers and have been embellished with hand distressed metal, found objects, ephemera, altered paper, and distressed suede and book cloth.

The inner pages include original photographs of rusted metal found in NYC, hand printed and attached to cold press water color paper covered with shellac.

The original poem printed across the pages reads as:

a sudden shower
raining down
a surge of power
an object found

painter's palette
splattered stains
filled with rhythm
endless chains

"An Object Found" is featured in the book 'Art at the Speed of Life' by Pam Carriker published in February 2011 by Interweave Press.

In addition, "An Object Found" was shown at the 'Print Center of New Jersey' in their July/August 2011 exhibition and at the New Jersey City University Gallery in September/October.

All art will be packaged carefully to avoid the risk of damage. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
