Lill Annie #2 has arrived at Hailstorm Creek!

This special doll is named after my Granny Lil, who was a skilled dollmaker, drapery maker, quilter and clothing maker. She made a very special Raggedy Ann and Andy doll set when I was only 6 years old, which I still have to this day. This doll is designed and named for her memory. I hope this little doll brings you as much pleasure as Granny’s dolls gave to me.

This Lill Annie is only the second one made of this design. She is approximately 10" tall. She wears a homespun plaid fabric dress that is machine sewn with handsewn hems. The fabric has been dyed with beets. Fabric was then washed and rinsed. She also wears special bloomers, which are tucked and laced in the back, and she wears a tin stencil necklace. Her facial features are hand embroidered, as well as the heart on her chest. Her clothing is removable. Her hair is hand crocheted to her head and is a cotton and acrylic blend.

This is a collectors doll, however, she is not made of any hazardous materials, in case a little one does get ahold of her! If she is going to be around any small children, I recommend taking off the tin stencil necklace.

She is specially packaged in a cloth bag made of cotton. Granny Lil gave me my dolls in a paper bag. You can re-use your cloth bag for whatever you like–maybe to hold buttons! The bag is tagged with a photo of Granny Lil, and inside is a letter for you with Lill Annie's story. We are sure you will love Lill Annie!
