This is an unused, vintage, real photo postcard of Crown Point Vista House, on the Columbia River Highway in Oregon. Postcard is by Cross & Dimmitt. Condition is Excellent.

Vista House is located on Crown Point in Oregon at an altitude of 750 feet and has a breath taking view of the Columbia River Gorge, The Crown Point Vista House was built in 1916 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by Edgar M. Lazarus.

From the top of Vista House, one can view Portland and Vancouver, Washington to the west. Beacon Rock, on the Washington side of the gorge, is visible to the east

The building is a popular tourist stop for drivers on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The building was refurbished and the interior restored to its 1916 appearance, it reopened in 2005.
