"Candy Asp Twister" is a bracelet that is all about abundance and mystery! The whole tribal feel of the multitude of African Powderglass Trade beads is emphasized with the scattering of gorgeous Tibetan Silver beads and crystal. Many of the trade beads are vintage and one-of-a-kind. Glorious and colorful!

Your bracelet will be packaged in a lovely MATCHING origami box that I've made from recycled card and will include a photo-card of your exact item with the story about your piece. (See photo of packaging example.)

Some Cool Facts About the Beads I Used in This Bracelet:

Powder Glass Trade Beads- These great beads are made by the Krobo Tribe of Ghana, Africa. They are made by crushing glass to a fine powder and heating it so that the particles fuse together. The glass is then poured into clay molds, with a cassava leaf stem used to make the hole. They are baked in an oven and the glass fuses and the casssava stem burns up.

Each trade bead is handmade. Every single bead is one-of-a-kind.

Wearing trade beads is like wearing a piece of history.
Trade beads date back as some of the oldest beads in modern history. Most trade beads have travelled at least three continents, and have been possessed by multiple owners, especially old trade beads. There's nothing like wearing a piece of history!

Unlike most of the beads on the market today, trade beads are each made by hand using ancient traditions and techniques. It feels amazing to wear something that was not made by a machine or robot, but rather, by a fellow human.
