Our Banner Safety Harness is now available! Available in 24 colors, our standard 1” quick release Safety Harness is made from smooth flat nylon, with all exposed edges turned outward for ultimate comfort. Features an over-the-head design, adjustable shoulder, chest, and yoke straps, and a third waist strap for the highest in safety, giving the perfect fitment and control for any pup in need of a little extra control or protection against neck pressure. Value priced so you can pick up a few different colors!

All Houndstown harnesses feature either heavy polypropylene (lined collar base) or flat nylon (unlined) webbing, cast or welded nickel hardware, and are stitched in an industry standard “Box-X” stitch pattern with bonded nylon thread for maximum safety and peace of mind.

Can I wash a Houndstown harness?

All of our products are washable. We recommend either hand washing with a product such as Woolite, or simply tossing the collar or leash into a lingerie bag and using the delicate cycle. Lay flat to dry.

Are other sizes, styles, or colors available?

Many of our collars and leashes are available in multiple sizes, widths, colors and styles (buckle or martingale). If other options are available for the particular collar in which you are interested, we will note it in the description.

Bought the hi-vis yellow which is perfect on my black dog. Fits really well - he's got a huge chest and tiny belly so we had to open the bands to the furthest on one and the smallest on the other! But it's brilliant and he's easy to spot at dawn and dusk and we're very happy with it.

This harness is great for my whippet mix! I bought a purple harness in size medium for him (his chest is 24” and he weighs about 33lbs) It is good quality, well made, and fits him well. After searching for a harness for so long that would be small enough around his neck but big enough for his chest, this one is perfect. He also cannot slip it by backing out of it (a common problem with other harnesses). My only issue (it is a minor one and I went ahead and just put in a quick stitch to fix) is that the length from the second loop to the third was a bit long and got peed on the first time we used it. Otherwise - super wonderful product!

This is hands down the best harness I've ever had for my -very rambunctious- treeing walker hound! She's slipped out of her previous harness but there's zero worry for that ever happening again with this one. I might get more in different colors!
