Here is a vintage transistor radio in the form of the latest in technology, a clunky desktop computer.

Nice details, such as a big keyboard, floppy disk drives, and power status button, which lights when radio is turned on. This radio works, although the sound quality is not as stellar as your iPod. Use the "mouse" to scan FM frequencies. Also has a volume/off wheel and a wire antenna. Takes three AA batteries (not included).

4.75 inches high. Plastic.

Please note that my shipping cost is calculated from the worst-case scenario, Chicago-California. If shipping cost is significantly less than that listed, I will give you a partial shipping refund. (I'm also happy to combine shipping costs--convo me for a quote or know that I'll refund a portion of the shipping you pay. Because I have a variety of items with different sizes and weights, it's hard to calculate that in my listing.)
