Dry brush and white-hot sand, the flash of tan and brown as an animal -- lion or gazelle, hard to be sure -- leaps past you.

As a result of my love of (or obsession with!) knitting with lace, I thought I'd give dying some laceweight yarns a try. I am so pleased with the results that I've decided to share them with you.

This particular skein is 100% merino lace, handyed with professional acid dyes in my home.

All lace skeins are one of a kind, though there may be some similarity in color.

I have knit with this yarn myself and am pleased with the fact that it's very light and yet strong. It takes and holds color beautifully and is a true joy to work with.

My products come from a pet-friendly, non-smoking home. Though the animals are not permitted to sleep in the yarn, a stray hair may tag along. Fair warning. :)

This is not superwash wool. Any finished project should be handwashed in cool water and dried flat.

Please let me know in the "notes to seller" if you would like this yarn wound into a center pull ball, free of charge. Please also note that any purchases made from my shop qualify you for entry into the monthly giveaway of a PhatFiber sample box.
