Vintage eclectic collection of aromatic extracts in antique pharmacy bottles. The Gill's Rexall Drugs label has a Phone 35 on one bottle and Phone 291 on another. Containers actually contain the pungent oils used medicinally and as food flavorings which were dispensed from a pharmacy in Appleton, Minnesota. Interesting to find these contained in a baby food jar along with a green translucent and a wooden, painted black and white pair of dice. Home decor or mixed media assemblage art supply.

Wintergreen is a North American plant. Cloves are the dried flower bud of a tropical tree native to Indonesia. Cinnamon is the inner bark of trees naive to South East Asia.

F.Y.I., according to Wikipedia, In early telephone systems, connections were made in the central office by telephone operators using patch cords to connect one party to another. If a person wanted to make a phone call, in some phone systems he or she would pick up a phone and wind a crank on the side. In other systems the person would wind the crank first, then pick up the phone. The crank was a small generator that would light a lamp at the central office. An operator would see the light and insert their patch cord into a socket and assist the customer with the call connection. The operator would use patch cords to connect the caller to the person being called. If the party being called was in another exchange, the operator would use a patch cord to connect to another exchange where an operator elsewhere would finish the connection. The latter part of 1879 and the early part of 1880 saw the first use of telephone numbers. During an epidemic of measles, the physician, Dr. Moses Greeley Parker, feared that Lowell's four telephone operators might all succumb to sickness and bring about a paralysis of telephone service. He recommended the use of numbers for calling Lowell's more than 200 subscribers so that substitute operators might be more easily trained in the event of such an emergency.

Your order will be sent by USPS the least expensive way possible. Standard shipping and handling prices are low because optional services are not automatically included unless you choose to add them. Shipping transport time estimates are First Class USPS. Heavier items and media require a few more days. With USPS, 8-week delays in the USA can happen—we don’t know why. Estimates are not guaranteed except for Express Mail upgrade (available in USA for select items); if you don’t see the option, please contact me BEFORE ordering to find out the cost and have me set it up for you.

Please double check the shipping address—it has taken 14–32 weeks for undeliverable packages to be returned to me.
Multiple quantities of the same item will arrive together in the same package.

Multiple items which don’t fit well together are sent in separate packages and may not always arrive on the same day.

Special combined-shipping price in the event that multiple items are purchased at the same time will automatically be calculated in the shopping cart.

Shipping includes postage, packaging and handling. I reuse boxes and packaging materials as much as possible.

Please contact me before you order if you have questions.
Standard First Class International Mail used for light packages such as Family Tree Charts normally takes 6–10 days to most locations worldwide after the 1- or 2-day processing “shipped date”. Heavier packages normally take 1–3 weeks, however, some may be delayed as long as 10 weeks. These delays do not happen often, but it can happen. The reason(s) for delays which can occur in United States and International Postal Service is unknown. Some delays may be due to customs legislation where your package may be opened for inspection. Shipping upgrade to Express Mail International service for a set of family trees normally takes 3–5 days to most destinations after the 1- or 2-day processing “shipped date”. Tracking is not available outside USA.
Yes, it’s sensible to have gifts sent direct! Please use the gift recipient’s shipping address for accurate delivery.

You may leave a note for me when you check out to specifically request special gift tag arrangements—I will be happy to add your personal note and names on the tag for gifts being drop-shipped.

I don’t include detailed price information in any package I send; however, International orders require the US dollar price on the outside of the package on the Customs label.
