The quilt captures a personal journey of searching for positivity during a challenging time of political turmoil worldwide. The blocks are designed in the style of vintage tattoos because, like tattoos, these events that are occurring in the world are indelible and cannot be erased from our history. Tattoos are also used historically as a means of documenting events in people’s lives. My goal for this quilt is to help process your feelings while making it, and to provoke dialogue and empathy across borders, whether those borders be geographical, political, religious or even within your friends and family.

Wow Wow Wow! This is my first FPP quilt - and my first quilt - EVER. Love how it turned out! Well-written instructions, and the design - chef's kiss. I LOVE the way my first block turned out! I started with an easier one, but this pattern is already much easier to use than other FPP patterns I’ve used. I’m excited to make the rest!

This pattern is so well written. Each block can be made separately for a small project or combined to make the full quilt. I was a bit hesitant to purchase because of the high price. It was well worth it. The amount of detail in each block is phenomenal.
