Shipping Policy and Shipping Insurance

Insurance does not cover package theft. It is your responsibility as a buyer to verify your shipping address and ensure that location is secure. I don't require a signature upon delivery except for very large purchases as most people find this inconvenient. Please understand that as a seller I can't be held responsible for what happens to your package after I drop it off at the post office. The only exception is if your package is lost by the post office I will file an insurance claim. You will be reimbursed after 30 days, this is how long it takes the insurance company to complete their investigation.

Item Damaged During Shipping

It is very unlikely but if your item is damaged during shipping please don't throw out the item or packaging. Per USPS requirements you will need to take the damaged item and packaging to your local post office to file an insurance claim.

Custom and personalized orders

No new custom orders at this time. Everything you see in my shop is ready to ship. If you are looking for a last minute gift I can send it to you very quickly. Please contact me if you have any questions about items in the shop.

What if my item was not able to be delivered because of an incorrect or invalid address?

If you provide a wrong address, unless it returns to me, I do not refund. If the item is returned to me, I refund minus shipping. Please check your address at checkout. Please understand I have no way of knowing what your address is and can only ship to what you provide.

My favorite fabrics for this project are Hoffman Bali Poppy or Wilmington Prints Mini Jewel sets. The number of 2 1/2 strips in these packs enable you to make 4 place mats. If you don't like batiks you can also use Moda Fabrics junior jelly roll. If you are making more than 4 place mats you will need to add to your strips sets or use a regular jelly roll. This is also a great pattern if you have a ton of scraps.

This listing is for a PDF sewing pattern only, not the finished table runners shown in the photos!

This is just what I've been looking for to make use of scraps. I made about 7 of them just yesterday. There are a lot of really useful charts in the directions to help me plan fabric cuts and some very useful diagrams for batting layouts and especially a color-coded graphic of how to put the block together. I can also use it to modify the pattern to make a mat of different proportions or size in this design. I'm hooked!
