Awesome pattern! I love how it is all made up together without sewing so many parts together. The lips are my favorite part! I got a little lost making the tail and had to frog it a few times. I am definitely going to check out more patterns from this designer! I am so glad the reddit members encouraged the designer to write up the pattern.

Love love love!! I was a little intimidated because it was a more advanced pattern even though I started about a month ago so I made it a bit easier on myself by not switching out the colors and just making the separate colors difference pieces then stitching after. Followed the pattern for the face and body and it’s so cute 🥺

Although I had some difficulties (especially at the tail and with the mouth), overall, I really enjoyed making my own little Pupa. The process is fairly quick, the instructions are well structured and for the most part easy to follow. And maybe my difficulties stem from a lack of experience with crocheting amigurumi style stuff. Either way I highly recommend giving this pattern a try.
