For your viewing pleasure we have an 8 day windup Victorian E. Ingraham Clock Co. mantle clock in very good condition. The clock is from the 1890's and the original paper label is on the back. The label says the clock was made for the American Wringer Co. of New York. I looked this company up on the internet and the company made laundry wringers up until the 1920's. The invention of the washing machine in the 1920's put it out of business.
This clock runs good and signals the 1/2 hour with a bell and gongs on the hour with the correct hourly count. The clock may need an adjustment after shipping. The original pendulum and key are included. The condition of the clock is very good. It is missing the glass door on the front and the back panel has newer screws holding it in place. Other than that, it looks all original. If you're into collecting clocks, or need a special gift to give someone then this may be what you're looking for.
