Great little child's silverplate serving set - a food pusher and youth fork.
Food pushers were designed for children who had not yet mastered utensils. It would be used to push food onto a fork or spoon. Measures approximately 4 1/2.
The youth fork is a small fork that can work in conjunction with the food pusher, or on it's own. It measures approximately 6 1/4".
The pattern is Dolly Madison, 1911, by Holmes & Edwards.
Both pieces marked: HOLMES & EDWARDS XIV
They are in vintage condition, they do show wear, particularly the fork. The fork has some plate loss, both on the handle, and on the tines, and underside of tines. The pusher has no plate loss, it shows regular usage wear.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
