This bag was made with care by Len Say (pictured). Len Say is a member of the Karen hill tribe, originally from Burma. She escaped persecution to receive political asylum to live in the U.S. She brought her loom with her and enjoys staying connected to her home culture while acclimating to life in America. Profit from the purchase of this bag goes back to Len Say to help her family establish a new life in the United States.

The main part of the bag is approximately 13.5" wide x 13.5" tall. The bag is 35" from the top of the strap to the bottom of the bag. It is purple, teal and light blue, with white accents and handwoven out of 100% pearl cotton yarn.

Since all of Hill Country Hill Tribers products are produced by hand, each piece is unique and may contain imperfections that add to its character. To learn more about the education and economic development work of Hill Country Hill Tribers, visit www.hilltribers.org.
