This listing is for a very interesting 1874 technical drawing of the plan for drying the Harlem Lake in the Netherlands. It includes a plan of the area and a profile of the canal belt. It was published in Paris, France as part of a manual for engineers of bridges and roads and its author is A. Debauve. This antique drawing would make a great gift for an engineer.

Size: 15.7" x 12"

Perfect for framing.

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. It is printed in thick paper and has a nice creamy patina. The plate has a fold down the middle as it was printed on one sheet but folded to fit into the book as two pages. The back is blank . Please look at the photos carefully. Colors may vary due to monitor settings. The image has been scanned in two parts and there might be some imperfections caused by pasting the two parts.

Sent to you in a flat envelope, folded in two (as it was in the original Atlas) protected with a cello sleeve and cardboard.

Please look at my policies:
