Let Dogs Delight To Bark And Bite.

Book plate is from a 1910 first edition "A Child's Book of Old Verses", blank on the back.
Included is the corresponding poem from the same book.

This would be so sweet matted and framed for the nursery or a child's room.
Page size is apx. 7 by 9 1/4 inches
Image size is 5 by 7 inches.

You will receive the actual book pages, not copies.
One edge ragged and untrimmed where it was attached to the book
Nice patina.
Page edges have a bit of edge tearing which will not show once framed.

Jessie Willcox Smith, one of America’s premier illustrators, epitomized the home life of the late-Victorian era. During the 44 years that her professional career spanned, she illustrated over 60 books, 250 periodicals and almost 200 covers for Good Housekeeping as well as many posters, calendars and prints.

I do not destroy good books. I would sell this book intact if it were possible.
