Grandmother's salt dip dishes. No imprints on back, simple white round bases. This make me believe someone in our family made these themselves as a gift or as a simple needed addition to the dinnerware.
These, you would dip your food by fork or finger into the dish or pinch salt with your fingers and sprinkle on your meal.
Spoons will not work well with this design of salt dish.
One dish has a chip on the rim, one of the pictures show me pointing this out.
