All of my lip balms start with great ingredients, but the secret is in the beeswax. I purchase my beeswax from a local beekeeper, living on the banks of the San Juan River. The wax is only processed by filtration, no bleaching, so it retains a dark golden color, and a natural honey scent. There are no commercial farms near her home, so these bees harvest their pollen and nectar from organic wildflowers and from her own organic garden. I also use unrefined organic cocoa and shea butters, stevia (a natural sweetener), and a balance of other oils to make a blend that is creamy, moisturizing, and protective.
