Superwash on Sale! Was $23.00, now $17.25.

We have tumbled Pennsylvania bluestone accent stones in our gravel garden paths. Geologically, these East Coast stones are a feldspathic sandstone. When I heard that Stonehenge was bluestone, I was excited to think that we had something in common with that great heritage site. Alas, it just means “foreign” stone in that context. This is a yarn that doesn’t look much like any stones, it’s just a fine sounding name! The colors are pale blue, magenta and a touch of lavender.

This listing is for one 2-ply skein, with a total weight of approximately 3.7 ounces, spun at an average of 1010 ypp (yards per pound), a worsted weight with a total yardage of approximately 230 yards.

Spongy with some sheen this yarn wraps at 8-10. Superwash, though not harsh, has a wooly texture that might not be appropriate for extremely sensitive skin.

See my Store Policy FAQs section for further knitting gauge suggestions for various yard weights and care instructions for different fibers.

My skeins are wound on a full 2-yard niddy-noddy. If you don’t have a large swift, let me know. Spun in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
