About the Artist:
Carrie Martinez is a self-taught visionary and surrealist artist, live performance painter, and muralist specializing in Goddess Art. Using acrylic paint, she creates dreamlike subjects embellished with timeless beauty and magic realism to stir the imagination and inspire the soul. Her lifelong interest in meditation, lucid dreaming, astronomy, and mysticism are the basis for her art, and she often includes symbolism to convey this exploration. Her studio is in Gainesville, Florida, where she lives with her husband and two sons. Together they are the owners of Visionary CrossFit, a combination gym, gallery, and studio space that encourages the transformation of mind, body, and spirit through fitness, art and music.
For the last 5 years, Carrie's art has been published internationally in the Feminist Spiritual Daybook We'Moon. Since 2010 she has continually shown her work in California, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Etsy is her favorite way to sell her art online, and she works very hard to make sure her collectors are happy with their art purchase.
Carrie is currently working on a collection of tarot-inspired paintings for an oracle card deck she is creating based on Goddess and Sacred Woman archetypes with beautiful dreamscapes, mysticism, and spiritual symbolism. She regularly paints live at art shows and music events, and her paintings are available for solo or group gallery exhibitions.

I am currently unavailable for custom paintings and commission work.
I do gift wrap every print in natural beige Kraft wrapping paper with a small gift tag, and I usually add a special gift. Short personalized notes available by request.
Some, but not all, of my art prints and notecards available for wholesale purchase. I do not do consignment. All prints and cards must be purchased upfront with a special discounted wholesale price plus shipping. Please provide your resale number. Contact me for more information.
