Recently my grandmother took me to the de Young Museum in San Francisco to see the Picasso Exhibit. Thanks to her I had an amazing and inspiring time, so inspired that I decided to create a piece based on the start of Picasso's Blue Period - the Death of Casagemas.

Notes taken from my audio tour that day:
Casagemas' shot himself because of a woman and this deeply affected Picasso. Picasso said, "Women represent the Femme fatale and with that comes danger and destruction." Picasso did not attend Casagemas funeral but the painting is what he envisioned it would have looked like. It is in the style of Van Gogh (one of his idols) and signifies the beginning of Picasso's famous Blue period.

Length: Can be worn at 7" or 7 3/4"
Materials: This bracelet is made from 8 styles of Picasso glass beads from www.beadsandbabble.etsy.com
Nymo thread, hand stitched leather backing & lots and lots of love!
