Milo Baughman Armchair for James Inc.

From one of the seminal Modern American designers, Milo Baughman, comes this fabulous orange tweed armchair, produced for James Inc. during the 1950's. Simply stunning, this Baughman still has its original upholstery, which remains in phenomenal condition. The entire chair is in spectacular condition, with the only noticeable blemishes being two very small wear holes in the arms (which are quite tiny and take nothing away from this wonderful piece). Other than these minor issues, the chair, including its beautiful pencil legs and original foam, is top-notch. The tag, which reads "Designs by Milo Baughman, James Inc. Articulate Seating," is still lovingly attached. An incredibly rare and luscious piece by one of the foremost designers of the Eames era, this chair is certainly one of the finest examples of Modern furniture manufactured during the Mid Century.
