This Fabulous Vintage Pagoda Umbrella is circa late1950s, and has a beautiful green pearlized lucite handle with a faux burled wood shaft. The canopy is of a rich caramel and mustard floral pattern.

Absolutely beautiful autumn colors. This would be great for a retro photo shoot!

34 1/2" Long (87.6 cm)
30" Wide (76.2 cm)

Material: Acetate

Made in Japan

Condition: This is in great working condition with all the spokes intact. The material is very sturdy and intact. I only see one tiny pinhole in the fabric, one separation at the edge of the fabric and a little stress to the material at the end of one spoke, but nothing that compromises the structure or integrity of the fabric. The lucite handle has some normal minor scratches due to wear.

The only major flaw I am seeing is that the tip is missing the metal piece that would hold the top of the umbrella in place. This means that the tip of the pagoda slides down when it is in the folded position, and that it needs to be coaxed back up when opened. This can be fixed by an umbrella repair, but they must be aware that the fabric was sewn shut at the top.
